When We Meet |
General Meeting TAS has one monthly indoor meeting in which we share current astronomical happenings, discuss business, and have presentations by members and invited guests. This meeting is held on the third Monday of each month on the first floor of The Challenger Learning Center. The center is located on the north side of the Kleman Plaza (behind city hall) in downtown Tallahassee. Meetings start at 6:30PM and end promptly at 8:30PM.
Sidewalk Astronomy We try to have one sidewalk astronomy session each month (except July and August) somewhere in the Tallahassee area. Most of our sessions are held at Lake Ella where we like to share our 'scopes and knowledge with the general public. Please check our monthly calendar of events to find the day and time of the next meeting. Come and join the fun!
