Double Stars Form in EXCEL

Attachment: Double Stars.xls

I  created a form to make the recording of Double Stars more efficient.  I combined the star list and the log into one form with your name at the top.  This way you do not have to repeat the double star name, your name, etc.  You will see the advantage.  See attached.

I tried out the go-to feature of my new scope.  It went to 10 double stars in a row and the objects were within the view of a 12mm eyepiece. Wow!! I need the 6mm eyepiece I ordered.  Splits less than 2 arc seconds are a challenge at 12.5 mm.  Or maybe it is my eyes.  In theory my scope should split to about 0.5 arc seconds given everything is perfect.  I am going to try a couple of tricks in "Astronomy Hacks" .

Thanks Bill.  I've just started my double list (without the goto so I be working on it for a while) and this looks like it will really help.
