Arrived at an open gate to Starhill about 6:30PM last nite.  There is a new sign at the gate saying an application for subdivision has been made.  I also noticed that the road sign I remember as have ing a church name has been changed to the subdivision name.

It was rather windy and cold but since I am imaging for a project I set up and started straight away.  The moon was almost directly overhead and I was almost blinded even by a half moon and the C14.  Unfortunately the seeing was not quite as good as the weather might indicate.  Lots of cells seem to make the moons surface boil at high magnification.  When I left around 10:00 PM the gate was locked.  Dont know who did it.

In any case I did capture some images, but unfortunately my partner in UK was clouded in and he was unable to image.  He just e-mailed me that he expects the same weather for tonite.  Nevertheless I will probably head out there again tonite.  Heres wishing for clear skies.
