Science is about exploring and explaining the universe seeking all natural explanations that are the most successfully predictive. Unless a search for the creator would lead to the most predictive natural explanation for the universe then it is simply theology dressed up as science. However I do find it interesting how so many supernaturalists are so keen to use science to butress their "faith" in the supernatural.
