01-13-2006, 1:30 PM Jim Joined on 05-26-2005 Posts 51 Star Party I was reading in the Feb. issue of Astronomy about upcoming star parties around the country, and I was wondering if we could plan our own mini star party on the hill?  I am not talking about a formal party with the running of ads and inviting the world, but an informal TAS  type thing?  Say an all nighter on Saturday the 28th of January (weather permitting of course)?  Again, nothing formal, just meet and observe through the night.  The next new moon isn't until late Febuary.  Anyone interested?        Report

01-14-2006, 12:08 PM Jim Joined on 05-26-2005 Posts 51 Re: Star Party Sometime in March is also great with me.  In the mean time, I plan on taking the hill on Saturday the 28th of January for an all nighter (as mentioned before, weather permitting).  If any new members do not yet know the way in to star hill, and want to go, please post here, and I will be happy to set up a meet and convoy time at the Lloyd Subway.  Let's get out there and take the night!
