When I got home from work today I had a phone message that indicated that the event in Thomasville tomorrow would have to be canceled. The reason was that the rain from the last two days have made the unpaved rural roads almost impassable and the field a mud bowl.
Lets meet at Starhill and do some observing and admire our new table and grill. Saturday is one day short of a quarter moon and will be low in the west early. Dress warm.

[ It now looks like I'll be able to come. Is there anything left for me to look at (Pleiades, Beehive?), or do we already have enough? ]
Oops, I've been asked by LAST (Leon Association for Science Teachers) to provide some viewing opportunities at their event that same evening at St. Marks (also a hay ride). I'll go to that, since it looks like everything is covered at the Thomasville event, and I want to be sure we continue our contacts with the teaching community.

Is there an alternative date if the weather does not cooperate?
