Geeked [8-|]TSS Lannutti Lecture (Nobel Laureate speaking on science education)
TSS' Annual Lannutti Lecture, jointly sponsored by the Tallahassee Scientific Society and the FSU Physics Department, will be on Thursday, 16 March 2006.

Our speaker this year is Nobel Laureate Dr. Leon Lederman, Pritzker Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He will be giving a dynamic lecture on "The Perfect Storm in Science Education."

The lecture will be at 3:45 PM at the Richards Building on FSU's campus (map code UPL).  There will be a special reception in the foyer beginning at 3:00.

Click on http://www.fsu.edu/Campus/newmap/ for a campus map.  The Richards Building is off Palmetto Drive.  There are 2 parking garages nearby:  one is south of the Carraway Building (CAR on the map), and one is at the intersection of Stadium Drive and Connector Road.

This should be a great session, and I encourage everyone to try and make it.

Barry
