03-23-2006, 6:58 AM skelleywa Joined on 05-23-2005 Posts 48 Equipment Test for Caverns I set up in my driveway last night and completed 6 double stars in Cancer and Leo.  However, I used a 12 volt power pack in preparation for April 1.   Per a Losmandy Gemini review in S&T I slowed the slew speed to 1/2 speed and had no problems with voltage drop during Go-To Operations and had plenty of power after three hours of operations.  I used the Go-To to go to Saturn (First Planet test)  with no problem.  I was suprised since I did not update GMT time at the start.    Report
