Sunspot 822 is now only a memory, but here is an image using the PST of the prom as it exits the suns face. Not as sharp as I would like, but it was windy and the magnification is aproaching the stupid level

This is a image of the lunar teriminator I captured at the Lake Ella Sidewalk Astronomy session on 11/11/05. The magnification is in the stupid range at around 280X on a 90mm ETX, but who does not like stupid.

It was taken about 9 PM 2/7/05 (for you strick disciplinarians out there I'm not keeping good notes at this point - still enjoying playing with the telescope and all of it's many features) thru an etx-125 with a 2x barlow and no filter. During the visual viewing there was a moon directly below Saturn (I don't know which one) In relationship to the picture there is a small white bloch about two inches below and a little to the right which maybe that moon. Some of the ring detail can be made out regards Jim

M38-4 (03/28/05)

38 was done tonight with the DSI camera. Same scope as above - 10 4 sec exposures @ f/15. I only did a section of it, when I get a focal reducer/field doubler maybe I can put together a complete mosaic. I really wanted to try Orion Neb - but it was behind some trees. Jim
